What is Amble?
Amble is an all-in-one travel companion app for iOS. Plan multi-city trips, discover destinations, build day-by-day itineraries, track expenses, and split costs with friends — all in one place.
How do I create a trip?
Tap the + button on the Trips screen to create a new trip. You can add a trip name, set your travel dates, choose destinations, and set a budget. Once created, start adding itinerary items like flights, hotels, and activities.
How do I invite friends to a trip?
Open a trip and tap the Members section. You can invite friends by entering their email address. They'll receive an invitation and can join the trip once they accept. Collaborators can view and edit the itinerary and expenses.
How does expense splitting work?
When you add an expense to a trip, you can choose to split it among trip members. Amble tracks who paid and who owes what, giving you a clear breakdown of balances. You can split expenses equally or customize the amounts.
Can I sync bookings from my email?
Yes. Amble can sync travel bookings from Gmail. When you authorize access, the app scans your inbox for flight, hotel, and activity confirmations and automatically adds them to your trip itinerary. You can revoke access at any time.
How do I scan a receipt?
When adding an expense, tap the camera icon to take a photo of your receipt. Amble uses AI to automatically extract the amount, currency, and description, saving you time on manual entry.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Profile tab in the app. For more details, including what data gets deleted and how to request deletion if you can't access the app, visit our account deletion page.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is stored securely on Convex's cloud infrastructure with HTTPS encryption. Authentication tokens ensure only you and people you invite can access your trip data. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
What platforms is Amble available on?
Amble is currently available on iOS. Download it from the App Store to get started.
