Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Amble ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Amble is a travel planning application that allows you to create multi-city trip itineraries, discover destinations, track expenses, split costs with travel companions, and sync travel bookings. The service is provided on an "as available" basis.

User Accounts

To use Amble, you must create an account using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within Amble, including trip plans, itineraries, expense records, and other data. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and any collaborators you invite.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's servers or networks.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the app through automated means.
• Impersonate another person or entity while using the app.
• Use the app to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content.

Intellectual Property

The Amble name, logo, and all associated branding are the property of the developer. The app's design, code, and content (excluding user-generated content) are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without prior written permission.

Third-Party Services

Amble integrates with third-party services including Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Google Places API, and Convex. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services.

Disclaimers

Amble is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the service. You may delete your account at any time through the app or by visiting our account deletion page.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
